Hello Everyone

Last weekend, I travelled to Birmingham and spent the day in the sunshine and near the water. It was a wonderful day spent outside with the fresh breeze. Even though I've mentioned it a lot on my blog, I don't think that I can say it too much. Taking time out for yourself is one of the best activities and treats that you can give to yourself, I think that being an introvert may play a big role in its importance to me, but being introverted, ambiverted or extroverted, nothing can beat solitude.

Hello Everyone

This week I bring to you this beautifully relaxed interior designed by David Chipperfield Architects, and photography taken by Matthew Williams.

The design features my favourite style, which consists of full height windows that let in natural lighting. It works especially in this space as there isn't any piece of furniture or detailing that is too extravagant. Everything is at the correct consistency. Another accent that I find gives this space personality, is the stone terrazzo detailing found between the majority of the full height windows.

Everything from the textiles, to the furniture to the colour palette, bring this site together and it definitely is my favourite find in May alone.

Hello Everyone

At the beginning of April, I had the opportunity to work in London for 2 weeks on work placement. I must admit, within the first week, the weather was terrible and did nothing but rain every day. But miraculously during my second week there, England had an episode and we experienced Spring for all of 1 week. It went from unbearable rain, to unbearable heat.

On the weekend of unbearable heat, my friends and I all decided to have a cute date and travel around London, looking at sites and just catching up in general. It was good time and I couldn't have been more relaxed doing it. This blue shirt that I recently purchased from UNIQLO, has probably been one of the best things that I've bought in a while! The fit and overall flow is amazing, and I should've bought another one!
