City Chic | Paris Pt.II

Hello Everyone

On my second day in Paris, I took a train ride to the area called Asnières-sur-Seine, and it was gorgeous! There were trees everywhere and the side streets all had a mini story to tell. The area was slightly cheaper as it wasn't central Paris, but that didn't stop it from being beautiful! I wore my favourite blazer again on the second day and paired it with these adorable shorts from Uniqlo. I was going for the relaxed but still chic city look. I teamed the whole look with these gorgeous earrings from ASOS and my mini suede bag from &OtherStories (similar here).

I found that in order to keep costs down while visiting Paris, it was best to shop like the locals and take a visit to the supermarket called Monoprix, but shorted down to Monop'. Needless to say, this little wonder became my favourite shop while I was out in France. The prices were cheap, and the food quality was incredible! Each one that I visited, had an in-house bakery! Can I say that I was in heaven? Haha

I ended the day with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. I sat eating a delicious fruit pot, surrounded by family and a gorgeous Parisian sunset. It was an amazing end to the day and I'd do it all again!

Black and Navy | Paris Pt.I

Hello Everyone

During the last week of June I had the luxury of being in Paris for my older sister's birthday, and I must say if time travel was a real thing I'd do it all again. The sun was shining, everyone was overly kind, I was super comfortable in my outfit (even if the sun was too hot at times) and the best aspect of it all was the fact that by already living in Europe, my flight was only 55mins!

At the airport, I decided to treat myself to some Japanese, and what better than some Wasabi? I don't grab food when I'm out very often. but due to having recently finished my second year at university, I thought why not?! Also if you haven't my What My Second Year At University Taught Me post, then don't forget to check it out!

Paris is no Lisbon, but even for Paris you will often find yourself some graffiti on the streets. If you ever find yourself in the city of love, be sure to try and go down some of the side streets that aren't so common. I find that, that's where some more of the beauty lies.

What is visiting France without having a few croissants here and there? And obviously they're the best ones I've ever had, and I'm not exaggerating haha.

Paris Day One | Vlog

Hello Everyone

Bonjour! With this amazing weather that we've been having recently, and my sister's birthday being in one of the warmest seasons, my family and I recently went to Paris, France. I had an amazing time and was able to see many of the usual tourist things, as well as the often overlooked parts of the city.

I've been to France many times before, but never during their summer and what I decided to wear on the on the first day of travel, despite France's incredible weather, was still slightly too much! During my next visit, someone needs to remind me to carry less haha! I wore one of my favourite blazers in which I thrifted for only £5, a simple grey tee, jeans from &OtherStories (similar here), my favourite shoes from Clarks (similar here), and of course my favourite mini bag from &OtherStories (similar here).
