Hello Everyone

So March has begun and I'm excited to see what is in store. I see March as a month of relaxation, taking things remotely easy and etching out more time for myself in my tight student schedule. I hope you all have a great month, and here's to the 3rd fresh start of the year.

Hello Everyone

December is finally here!! Which means its (FINALLY) time for Christmas. The only time of the year where it's acceptable to ask for a hot chocolate with every meal and to sing 'All I want for Christmas' from the moment you wake up. There's a slight chill in the air and it's too much of a risk to leave the house without more than 2 layers on. So for this month, I once again want to experiment with layering and a multitude of different textures. Leaving me with nothing but excitement for the whole month! Forget advent calendars, the daily treat is finding new comfortable and layered outfits!

Hello Everyone

With it being the beginning of a new month; a new moodboard to forecast what is coming up was definitely needed. High necks, thick materials, daylighting (a new tattoo) and cosy textures is what I picture in store for September. Also with university starting back up soon, and the fact that I'm moving out for my second year, I wanted to commemorate another new beginning with a tattoo to signify what I have already overcome.

I hope that you're able to gather as much inspiration from this moodboard as me!

Hej Everyone!

Seeing as I'm in still in the process of doing up/ converting my room, I thought I'd share with you an inspirational moodboard as it is sure to give you all an insight as to the type of environment/feel that I want within the space.

I added in an essence of plant life, as the plants would be sure to make me cleansed/ refreshed when applying make-up or getting ready during the day and or night. The beautiful seating, features one of my favourite materials... Wood. Wood is definitely one of the materials that instantly makes anyone feel relaxed and at ease, and what better emotions to experience than when in your dressing room?

As for the lighting, I would love for it to be a mixture of both relaxing (Ambient Lighting) and lighting directed to a specific spot (Task Lighting).. as make-up is a necessity of course! The lighting  that I picked was this gorgeous pendant lighting from Arhaus. They have truly gorgeous lighting and the good thing is that it works well in more than one room, for example, bedrooms, living rooms and anywhere else in the home that you can imagine.

Seeing as I would be going for the relaxed route, I thought I'd add in this woven basket from MUJI, as it goes well with the chair and all of the other earthy tones. As for the main aspect of the dressing room.... the mirror, I picked out this absolutely gorgeous round mirror from my favourite collection at IKEA. The Stockholm Collection. The mirror would definitely bring the dressing room to live, but what better way to finish it off, than with these beautiful and minimal candles from Arhaus.

And there we have it, my interpretation of my 'Dream Dressing Room', I hope you all liked it and if so, don't forget to leave a comment below! I wish you all an amazing end to the week!x

In order to stay ahead/up to date, the best way to do so, is by visiting art galleries/museums, as they showcase modern artists/designers, and their thought process. Obviously they're amongst a mixture of new and old artists, but either way, inspiration is never from around the corner, once you've visited a gallery or two.

Thought I'd make a little inspiration post based on the little guys that help us breathe easier and better, so I created a mini collage of some truly inspiring pics that make me want to take a cheeky trip down to IKEA, and explore the plant section.

Definitely my favourite hair style and colour, followed by the style that I want to try out

Though I'd share with you my recent inspiration on Pinterest, all from the minimal bedrooms to the simplistic aesthetic clothing to the perfect hair style. You can check out my pinterest here.
