Hello Everyone

It's official! October has already begun, and I'd be lying if I said that it wasn't one of my favourite months. The seasons are clearly changing, the air is slightly colder, it's finally time to bring out the winter jumpers and hot drinks are a must! For me being a student, it also marks the beginning of a new academic year, and the exciting things that come a long with it! In the next few weeks, I have some posts scheduled for you all, so bear with me and keep on the look out.

As for today's post, I thought I'd try and create a moodboard for the month that somewhat explains the warmth that I feel inside! Hence the pumpkins, and the knits!

If you had 3 words, to sum up your Autumn/Fall, which would you choose? Mine are: Warmth, Excitement and Relaxation.

Hello Everyone

Last month I thought I'd give myself a mental day, purely because the seasons had finally begun changing, and for as long as I can remember, I've always associated September/Autumn with fresh beginnings. So I gave myself the day off and had a mini reading session in the park.

It was quite comforting to hear nothing but birds chirping, the water fountain and the occasional flick of the pages in my book. It was a day well deserved, and I think it should be more of weekly thing rather than monthly!

Hello Everyone

An exquisite example of Interior Design at its best. La Villa Rose presents an extremely botanical but welcoming exterior. Leading you to the well-lit interior which features an incredible set of pink walls and varying doorframes. The successful change in calm walls to dramatic flooring is beautiful as the two work together in harmony, instead of against. Throughout, I believe it is an incredible interior and I wouldn't change anything about it.

Hello Everyone!

Then midday, I was able to visit another major landmark when visiting Los Angeles. The LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). The museum its self was gorgeous and I loved the maze-like layout both inside and out. Upon arrival there was an exhibition/pavilion that I didn't realise that was made solely for me! The Pavilion of Japanese Art. The featured pieces were amazing and it was such an amazing Interior to have experienced!

Then finally, towards the end of the day. I spent my time watching the sunset at the amazingly picturesque Santa Monica Pier! The sound of waves and boiling pot of international people was such a beautiful end to the day! The cooling sand and golden hour lighting were definitely enough to put a smile on my face

The day ended on a high note, and by high note I mean, Camomile tea! The warmness is definitely enough to make you forget your worries, stress and anxiety. So, always be sure to stop smell and sometimes taste the flowers!x
