design mags/websites you should be reading right now.
October 09, 2016
I thought that I'd give you guys a mini introduction to the design mags that keep me going, give me inspiration (and take all my money when they release their latest issue). So read below to see what I keep up to date with.
If you haven't heard about this magazine, where have you been? I truly believe it's one of the most important design magazines as of now, as it provides anyone who's reading an insight into Art-type's homes and their lives and the little stories behind why certain things are in their homes or why they did certain things in their careers. It's the perfect biannual mag and definitely keeps you go for the 6months.
Of course this one had to be added to the list, purely because it's one of the worlds leading design mags and definitely is one to set interior decorating trends, offer food recipes, dish out the latest fashion and random lifestyle tips. The website has a perfect layout is definitely straight to the point. Also the magazine is as perfect as the website, (not to bad for £4.50 a month).
Once again, another important magazine as of today. Wallpaper* features not only interiors, but a mixture of architecture, design, fashion and art. It actually supplies the latest and greatest designers with one of their own awards, which is actually a major achievement. It also has it's own store, selling everything that could create the ultimate desk area, supplying from desk lamps to stationary. Visit their store here.
Architectural Digest is a website that features many different forms of design. Be it architecture, interior, and celebrity design, you're bound to stumble across some beautiful 'homespiration'. The website also offers advice on the coolest places to visit on holiday, from Dublin to Romania . This is the most recent article that I'm loving right now.
I've recently found this website/magazine, and I must say, its actually really good. It offers you both the latest and nostalgic interior design ideas, architecture and the latest technology. It's come along way seeing as it's only 10 years old, having already won plenty of awards. It has it's own store that sells beautiful minimal timepieces. Also, to top it all off, the website layout is super cute, and gives off Windows 98 Internet Explorer vibes.
