Hello Everyone

Last week I had to run a few errands, and by checking the weather forecast I noticed that it was way too cold to leave my house with just one layer on. As I mentioned in a recent post, I really want to try again with layering this winter (read it here). And with the UK being extremely cold lately, it would've been a death wish to leave in just a jumper haha. So I constructed an outfit with my favourite colours for the winter/autumn, and my favourite items in general. 

Those of you who have been reading my blog for a long time, know that I love this scarf and it is pulled out the weather hits anywhere near 2 degrees (hahha its true) and it has been one of the best things that I have purchased from COS (similar here), along with this coat from GAP (similar here). Then I just decided to finish off the look with a turtleneck from UNIQLO, my favourite navy jumper and these super cute trousers from GAP.

Hello Everyone!

This Saturday was spent with a quick trip into town just to buy the necessities. However, what is a trip into town without stopping by my favourite shop.... IKEA (of course) in order to buy some cinnamon buns and stock up on kakor hallon. The visit was short but definitely enough, before I had work later. After work, I finished the day off with eating tasty fruit and watching the sunset, all from my garden!

Hello Everyone, I hope your Monday is treating you well!

The main question that has been plaguing my mind recently is.... Why do you seldom see any bloggers re-wear clothing? 

Do not get me wrong, obviously there is a fine line between healthily re-wearing clothing, and then only living in one item. However (in my eyes), clothes are made in order to be worn more than once. You see many celebrities wear an item/outfit only once and then boom, they're done with it. But for many normal people, we do not get that 'luxury'. If any of you have been following my blog recently, I've have been loving this coat! (Check here, here & here). I pull this beauty out every winter, and it serves me well every time. I very rarely look for a new coat whenever winter hits, because I know that this coat (Pepe) has my back. Another funny thing is that every item in this blog post (minus the tote) has been worn on this blog before:

I truly believe there is no harm in re-wearing clothing, and hey.... to some extent, it's actually good for the environment. I was recently reading a blog post from my best friend Séarlait's blog, and she mentioned how fast fashion and frequently shopping (Online for example) is damaging, not only for our wallets but for the environment too!

So everyone just keep in mind... Sometimes it's OK to pull out A/W12's coat or S/S10 skirt, there's no harm done!

Hello Everybody!! Today I thought I'd bring to you what I wore recently. Seeing as the weather has been doing nothing other than steadily declining, and on this particular day, I wasn't feeling wearing a larger coat in order to keep me warm. So I opted for my usual, layered route. 

Recently I've been loving this fleece turtleneck from Uniqlo, as it's definitely been keeping me warm, as well as feel like a teddy bear whenever I rub my hands over it. Another favourite of mine (and always will be) any outfit that successfully combines double denim. My double denim consists of Levis, that I scored on eBay for £19, and my (brother's) denim jacket from GAP. I then achieved the whole layered look my favourite cardigan, also from GAP.

I feel that I didn't do too bad when it came to layering today. What's your take? How do you usually layer up for the colder weathers?x

Pink and White probably have to be one of my most favourite colour combinations, as I believe they make you seem expensive, and also quite innocent, which isn't a bad thing. I believe i've mentioned in an earlier post (read it here), many people begin to dress in dull and boring colours during the colder seasons, so I decided to bring in some very bright summer colours into my winter wardrobe x

Seeing as embroidered clothing is still a trend, I thought I might as well give it a try, and I'm ashamed to say... I actually like it! Its playful meets casual dress, and I'm a fan. I decided to pair this jumper with my favourite pair of gap jeans, and obviously my favourite boots, which you can see me wearing here, here and here. (I regret nothing) x

1. Turtlenecks
If any one knows me, they know that I'm OBSESSED with turtlenecks!! I even began wearing them early this year (you can check: here). They provide perfect heat, they reduce the need to take a scarf and can instantly make any outfit super stylish!! I'm looking for the perfect turtleneck dress, so if anyone knows the perfect shop to find one, please list it in the comments below x

2. Cardigans
I looove having my cardigans wrapped around my waist as it adds the illusion of layers and I can put it on if the weather continues to drop in temparature. If you're definitely interested in purchasing a cardigan, I suggest investing in a super thick one, as they are perfect for comfort and are literally the definition of adorable :3

3. Denim
 Another essential I will be living in this Autumn, are these jeans, as they're very Vétements inspired and can be paired with practically any outfit. Plus I've always believed that blue denim looks great in Autumn as the coloured leaves are so pretty and vibrant, so why not add a pop of colour into every outfit? So if you want to take my advice and buy a cute pair of trousers...why not visit Betabrand? As they sell pretty much everything to get you sorted for this colder weather, whilst still being pracitcal and stylish!!

4. Cute Shoes
Cute shoes are definitely a must purely because there should never be a season that hinders you from wearing a pair, and yes trainers can be classed as cute shoes!! However the shoes that I'm wearing today are definitely the current 'blogger shoe'. But can I just say, they're everything thing I thought they would be! Comfortable, versatile, and cute. They had been sitting in my ASOS 'saved items' for as long as I can remember, and recently I just thought to myself... 'You got into university... you deserve a treat'... So here we have it! I finally own a pair of granny heels!

Another reason why I wanted these shoes was because one of my favourite bloggers Hanna Stefanson lived in them over summer and she nailed every outfit (check here, here and here).

5. Earrings
Just because the weather is getting colder, doesn't mean your love towards fashion has to hide away too. There's no reason as to why you cannot keep wearing those cute accessories that complete any outfit, and I love me a good pair of statement earrings too much in order to hide them away.
