On Boxing Day, I took a trip down to London (check out my vlog here) in order to take my brother back home, and made a little stop off in some shops to see what was what, and I must say, I liked what I saw. I'm also pleased to say that the warm embrace of Boxing Day was clearly present and I was able to get some great bargains!

White Trainers | CLARKS
I believe every person needs a good pair of white trainers, one especially with high quality. One of the main things that I wanted to ensure, was that I had at least one timeless piece in my wardrobe, be it clothing or shoes, as they can be styled either up or down, during the day or the night or just for running errands and thanks to December 26th for existing, I was able to do so.

White Long Sleeve | UNIQLO
As the colder weathers are still underway, the art of layering is still heavily present and necessary. So I once again decided to invest in some investment pieces that I know I will be able to wear for Winters and Autumns to come. With this white long-sleeve, I can definitely see myself pairing it up with either a v-neck jumper and the warmest coat you can imagine.

Camel Flannel Shirt | UNIQLO
This shirt definitely spoke out to me in ways no shirt usually does. The awkward length of the sleeves, and the sudden stop of the buttons... Everything was just so perfectly pieced together, and the main aspect that topped it all off for me, was the unexpected use of flannel, a match made in heaven did you say?!

Black Fleece Turtleneck | UNIQLO
I already had this turtleneck in a lighter cream colour, but I couldn't help myself and decided to go back for some more, but only this time in a larger size and a darker colour. Despite being a turtleneck and providing more warmth than other items of clothing, the added fleece texture definitely makes this turtleneck one to keep around, and actually doesn't require you to play the Winter game of layering.

Coconut Hand Lotion | & OTHER STORIES
This hand lotion took me by surprise as it was purchase that made purely because it was close to the till. But I must say, it was definitely worth the price, and surprise. The smell is just damn right gorgeous, as the scent leaves you feeling refreshed and its super smooth, leaving the hands feeling like they're ready for anything.

Advice

what I love about winter

Seeing as everyone is compiling lists of things to get the loved ones in your life for this Christmas season, I though I'd instead, give you all a list of the other aspects to enjoy other than gift giving/ gift receiving... but from my perspective! <3

1. HOT CHOCOLATE

I'm pretty sure that everyone and their cousin knows that I love hot chocolate, so a list describing my favourite things wouldn't be complete without mentioning it! I mean whats not to love?! 1. its a lovely hot drink. 2. it's chocolate. And despite how often I drink it, I fall in love again every time!! <3

2. COSY PYJAMAS

I don't think that you can be classed as a human, if you do not enjoy spending time in your pyjamas, and what better time of year to spend more time in them, than during the winter?! They make staying indoors and watching movies all that bit better! They're the final point of when a day is finally over... and they all round, just make my day! (I'm an introvert... can't you tell?!)

3. SUNSETS

Cliché? Maybe, but I believe there's nothing wrong with appreciating the natural aspects around you... and I'm sorry but, sunsets are just beautiful. For the brief stint that they are up, they allow you to forget about all the minor things in life that get you down, and they also help detach from social media. Sometimes its better to watch it go down with just the natural surroundings, so NO music (I know, it's hard for me too!) x

4. MY BIRTHDAY

Being a Winter baby, the colder weather is definitely my favourite, mainly because your birthday is the one day when everything can be about you, and you don't have to feel bad about it! There's celebration (a bit of alcohol), or if you're anything like me, it just means being super comfortable in bed and watching a relaxing movie (ahh, the absolute best!)

5. CHRISTMAS

Many people's favourite holiday, whether it be for the gift giving or the gift receiving, or the food (a favourite for many), my favourite aspect of Christmas, is the fact that after a very busy year, it's the definite one day out of each year that you actually get to relax and do NOTHING all day!!.. Lazy, I know right?!

I thought I'd compile a list of beautiful ear bling as I believe that earrings are one of the main pieces of jewellery that completes the outfit. These gorgeous pieces could either be gifted (if you haven't got your christmas presents sorted out yet), or they can be for yourself (I know mine will be), So begin to look below for gorgeous pieces, that I dug around online for, for you x

These earrings are super gorgeous and are defintiely perfect for any Christmas party you could be invited to, or also if you're the type of person who gets dressed up for Christmas day! My favourite out of these three, definitely have to be the first pair, there's just something about the twisted detailing that gets me super excited whenever I look at them x

Absolutely loving these pieces from New Look, mainly because, if they were paired with a minimal outfit, these earrings would do the talking and definitely make anyone blush! My favourite out of the four has to be No.3 x

ASOS

Everybody knowsI love a bit of ASOS, and especially their earrings! Despite the pricing, the quality is actually really good and they do last a long time. So the earrings currently on my radar are these two gorgeous pairs! My favourite are defintely the first pair, because who doesn't love a double hooped earring? And suprisingly, I actually already own the second pair! You can see me wearing them here . I guess I'm suggesting them because I want to spread the love and I would love for you guys to own them too!x

I never usually go to H&M for earrings, however, I was recently browsing through the website and I must say, these 4 pairs defintiely grabbed me! They're very different to other earrings that I usually come across, and I think my favourite out of these definitely have to be No.3 x
