Hello Everyone,  today I bring to you some of the cute little images that were taken on my birthday (February 21st). If you follow me on IG (@Mil.jpeg) you may have already seen some images. If that is the case then, lucky you as you get to view some similar content twice over.

In other words... I recently turned 19 (I have another post relating to this soon), but unfortunately half of my birthday was spent at University as I actually had class on the Tuesday. But nevertheless, I spent the day with amazing friends, and I was able to switch off towards the end with my family!

 I opted for a very sexy cocktail, which featured Mango, Vodka and a little bit of Lime!! It tasted as gorgeous as the picture of it!

On Friday, I took a trip down to Clerkenwell, London with my class in order to visit a few showrooms in the surrounding area. Brunner, Orange Box and Altro were a few of the showrooms that were visited. Seeing as I'm an Interior Design student, I knew that this trip was not to be missed, and I'm glad I didn't, as I believe that it was a very good day out! Forever sitting in the classroom in order to learn isn't really the most practical as I'm the type to learn things by doing rather than by just hearing/seeing. I was able to see some beautiful sights around London, take a cute walk and I nicely finished my day off with a mini shopping trip on Regent Street.

Hello Everyone! Today I thought I'd bring to you the absolute treasure that I discovered on Pinterest. Also I bet you're all wondering from the title..."But Millie, I swear you study Interior Design, not Architecture?". Well if this is what you were thinking, you'd be correct. However, Architecture and Interior Design frequently overlap, and I thought to myself, if you can achieve a look that signifies that you're an Architect, then surely the same look can 'overlap' and make you look like an Interior Designer too? Nonsense... I know right?!

Either way, I was having a night-time scrolling session on my phone before bed (It's not good, I know) and I was looking for inspiration for my current module at university and a board named 'How To Dress Like An Architect' (check it out here) was recommended for me and I must say, its everything that you would want in a Pinterest board, and capsule wardrobe. Ranging from the perfect pair of shoes to the perfect suit to wear in and out of work/university!

What I was listening to whilst making this post

Tyler, the Creator - Yellow

Recently I was inspired by a Bloglovin' post (check it out here). It gave advice on different ways to spend your time wisely when commuting, either to work, school, college or university. So, if you're not good with your time, or you just plain need a kick up the butt, then I'd definitely say read ahead.

1. Read a book

I've not always been the biggest fan of reading, however, since starting university, I've recently been reading books whilst taking the train in the mornings. I find it's the perfect way to increase your vocabulary and just distract yourself from the noise around you. It can be a self-help, a fiction or just about anything, but whatever you decide to bring a long, make the most of that alone time.

Books I've recently read are:
- Girl Boss / Sophia Amoruso
- Capture Your Style / Aimee Song
- It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be / Paul Arden.
- Paris Street Style / Isabelle Thomas & Frédérique Veysset (Currently reading)

2. Check emails
Everyone knows that staying up to date with emails is probably one of the hardest tasks any human can come into contact with, so as long as your internet connection persists, checking your emails should be a necessity. There's no better feeling other than seeing no notifications and knowing that no one is waiting for a response.

3. Plan your day/tomorrow

To do lists are the perfect example of  being organised. They give you guidance when you're either confused or overwhelmed with work, so what better time to put your day/week in order, than when you're relaxed and have nothing else to do?

4. Listen to music
Anybody who knows me, knows that music is an extension of my personality, and no advice list would be complete without mentioning it at least once. Music is perfect for getting you in the zone, taking your mind off things, or all around just making you happy. So listening to it whilst commuting is perfect for drowning out background noise. 5. Watch the scenery
It might seem weird to say, but sometimes detaching yourself from technology is a great feeling. The majority of our world is surrouded around internet connection (ironic, because you're using it right now to reading this) however, not being 'connected' for at least 30 minutes, should provide you with enough solitude to get you ready for the day.
