Hello Everyone
Taking an inspiration from the construction of a tree, Japanese architect Akihisa Hirata has designed a treehouse-like home in the heart of Tokyo. Being placed in a country with very different building regulations, it is proven that Japanese architecture pushes the boundaries in terms of what is considered a house/home.
Despite its box-like appearance, this home lets in a lot more lighting than imagined, as well as features concrete and whiteness in each and every room. Glass and structure are evident through the design, but despite all the angular shapes and height changes, it somehow still feels extremely homely and comfortable.
